Breaking: NASU Suspends Strike

The Non-academic Staff Union, Obafemi
Awolowo University chapter has

NASU OAU Will not back down on Its Protest till they get Paid

The chairman of the Non Academic staff Union, Obafemi Awolowo university, Comrade Wole Odewunmi has said that the body will not stop its protest until they get paid.

“We’re not calling off the protest anytime soon until we get paid” NASU Chairman told Olofofo campus media shortly before a congress of NASU members held.

Comrade Wole Odewunmi also mentioned that light being restored on campus was as a result of the intervention of the Ooni of Ife.

“We returned electricity and water supply on OAU campus based on the meeting we held with Ooni of ife” He said.

Meanwhile, in other unrelated news, a former OAU lecturer was gunned down by unknown gunmen in the late hours of Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at his residence. According to LFB, he was killed in a shootout.
